New Hampshire part 4
We stayed in North Conway. How can I describe this town? Darling, quaint, mountain town. Yes, that just about sums it up. There are no tea rooms, or lacy china dishes shops (the kind of vacation towns I love) but I've learned to love these kind of towns too. These sweet mountain towns where there is great history and the people who live there take pride in and love their town. The scenery in mountain towns is breathtaking. And there are pretty cool mountain shops too! Like this one.... Zebs!
Oh and this picture has been three years in the making.
Do you see that little bear? His name is 'black bear' and he has been sleeping with Abigail for three years since the last trip to this store. Let's see if I can find a picture from that trip!
Here we are in 2011
Abigail couldn't wait to go back to this shop and show black bear his family.
And it sure was so much fun shopping until Abigail dropped black bear and his new friend in a rainy puddle on our way out.
But he dried off and all was well again
Lots of dessert/coffee shops
And a sweat shirt or jacket is surely necessary in these up north kind of vacations.
"One last picture mama"
Storyland was the next day!
And this same going up the hill for the polar coaster back in 2011... just because I have to look back!
Storyland back in 2011
And in 2010
No, I am not okay that that baby China girl is going off to middle school in September!
This was our first 'no stroller' vacation and let me tell you it felt weird! I din't really like it one bit. This summer really felt like a transition for us. No stroller, not so little... I'm not ready for this at all. But no matter what they are still and will always be my little girls. And I love my summer time with them!
Mountain town 2010 is back here
Mountain town 2011 is here and here and here and here

ReplyDeleteSO many wonderful memories! I feel as though I am on your trip with you. Your posts have me thinking that this might be a fun place to visit on our sabbatical trip back east next summer.
