I don't have fall home pictures to share because well... it's 90 outside today and I just don't take out the fall garland when it's 90. I wait a bit until it's one of those rainy, cozy days. And it must be like 60 or something. 90 just isn't fall! (music)
But a girl can dream, can't she? This goodness is coming...
This weekend we
had tunes cranking in our kitchen
we made Dave's pizza (but Dave's pizza isn't Dave's pizza without Dave... sigh)
swam in the pool and packed away the pool bags until next summer
did laundry
ironed and ironed
went to Mass
celebrated Scott's 41st with chocolate cake and sprinkles (and his mom)
slept past the alarm
built a fort with daddy and added lights
went for a hike
had a picnic in the woods
oh that sip she takes
that pillow he makes
that leaf she found
the happiness she is
the family we made
the chilly air
secrets whispered in the playroom
My favorite part ~ Scott dancing with me in the kitchen (he can dance!)
Abigail's favorite part ~ Learning how to tie her shoes (thanks Anna for helping)
Anna's favorite part ~ just relaxing
Scott's favorite part ~ three days off
It was a good one. I like weekends. Especially three day ones!

So glad everything is going well and everyone has those amazing great big smiles! Love the idea of lights in the fort! Will have to try that with my girls. Getting settled here in our new place and posted a new post today...still trying to do that more regularly, lol. Have a wonderful afternoon!
