Lucky Duck

It's been a choppy week. The girls have been out of school at 1:30 (for teacher conferences) and the change in schedule always throws us off a bit. But I've loved the extra time with the girls. And we're all thrown off a bit with daddy not being home until after bedtime this whole week.  Now that we're on day four in a row Abigail spontaneously starts crying.  Looking forward to tomorrow when we can all have dinner together. 

Abigail came home with this huge poster today. Now that it's the "second time around" I really treasure all of these little things. The "lucky duck" also has all sorts of privileges for the day too!



I can't believe that next week is Thanksgiving. My Mom hosts Thanksgiving which is lovely since I love those books, 'Over the River and Through the Woods... to Grandmother's House We Go'. Looking forward to that favorite cozy holiday!
