Halloween 2015

A little morning cuppa tea.

And after they waited and waited and waited for the 'night' to begin... it was finally time.  Our Halloween 'night' starts early with a quick trip to our home town (just 30 minutes away) so that we can trick or treat at the grandparents houses.

Trick or Treating at Scott's Moms house

With a fun surprise from Grandma B

And then off to Grandma and Grandpa's house

Her mouth full of candy but I still love this one of these two

Loving all of the smiles here

We got home just in time for our annual dinner of 'trick or treaters taco soup' and then it was time to join the fun in our own neighborhood.

"Hurry daddy!  It's time to go!"

We put out TONS of candy and some treats for allergy kids

It sure was a FUN night! Our neighborhood was all out. We ran into friends and schoolmates. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed out time up and down the streets.

I loved how this house projected "Ghost Busters" on their window so that you could see it from the street. So cool!

After we got home the girls dumped out all of their candy. Abigail gives every last bit to Anna and turns in that candy for a present. (Calico Critters) Anna (now with double the amount) decides what she wants to keep and what to donate. (We have a family that collects leftover candy for treats at a homeless shelter. Anna was very generous and only save a few pieces of her favorite. (still too much though! She made a written out 'schedule' of what to eat on which days)

Scott and I were oh so tired but we did have our weekly Saturday night at-home date night. He made amazing brushetta and we collapsed on the couch.

It was a fun night and one that forced me to live in the moment. I forced the 'they're not wittle anymore' thoughts out of my head, knowing that years from now I'd look at this Halloween in 2015 thinking back, wow! They're so little!

So that's a wrap... another Halloween in the books!  On to the next holiday... Anna's absolute favorite... Thanksgiving!!!
