Summer Goals

1

Last night we got the chance to write out our summer goals. We started with a spiritual goal. Abigail had my favorite "dance for God every day". Since she couldn't read a devotional we all thought she loves a dance party in the kitchen. (especially when I crank up the praise music) So that's what she wrote and it made me smile.

That viola goal that you can't read says "5 D scales every day"

Next was a physical goal. Once again Abigail cracked us up with "52 jumping jacks every day" Anna was a bit more realistic with a "pick one of these" and she made a list of her favorite get moving activities.

A learning goal. I think I 'bit off a little more than I can chew' with this one. "Read one book once a week." Sounds grand but... well I'm not so sure about that one. But I'm going to give it a try.... if I could just walk away from this computer, editing pictures, and reading blogs.

Scott's goal... I still tease him about his learning goal "take a class at Harvard"  well la t da...

The girls had to write a viola goal and a reading and math goal too. Oh, and then we all wrote a fun goal like play a family game once a week. Mine? Baby movies!

Caught up on the girls albums... is it possible?  I'm two years behind with Anna's album and a year behind on Abigail's book.  I'm going to have to really put in only the big events to catch up.  But boy would that ever feel good!

All in all I think we're off to a good start. Now if only summer would last until October... well then we'd finish these goals!
