Holiday House Tour ~ the HEART of our home
Gingerbread on the tree
Last year Scott and I gave each other these Christmas dishes for our 20th married Christmas. And when Christmas was over I just couldn't pack them away. Too sad to think of those snowy animals all packed up in the attic. So I rearranged and made room in my kitchen china cabinet so that I could see them all year long.
Greens and jingle bells in with Beatrix Potter friends
Sweetness on the tea table
with Christmas tea cups ready to go
After the little house and tea were here I knew it needed a little something so Abigail helped me pick out this little deer in a beautiful garden shop around the corner from where I live.
and two new date night cups we added to our Emma Bridgewater collection
little snow houses I found at an antique store
I moved a set of four to a tray on the counter so that we could use the dishes for every meal all December long.
Even for Anna's after school snack
But the happiest days of all in this kitchen are by far the ones that I am home alllllll day in it. Especially when snow is fluttering down. How I love the snow. Everything is prettier and so much more Christmasy with snow.
Really, for Christams decorations all you need are some twinkle lights and snow.

Love the character of your house-the archways and that lovely built-in! They don't make them like that anymore!
