Food Family Fun Fourth

The fourth of July came and went like... a blink of my eye. I just downloaded the pictures and adore the candids that they are. I love seeing my girls in moments that I already forgot about. I love taking pictures!

They look so different to me than other years but I'm oh so grateful to be their mama.

Our morning consisted of flag fruit salad.

The girls played and I checked the weather a thousand times. The sky was dark dark dark and my Mom said it was drizzling at their house so they were starting to move everything inside. No, no, no!

But then we came and the sun came out so much that we were squinting in all the pictures.

See? Lots of sun! That's my parents in the middle and my brother and sister in law with the cousins. and one extra friend for Ian.   (Anna, I adore you in that photo... it was such a special day for you)

Cousins are the best!

Anna and Ian are just two weeks apart. Although he was here well over a year while Anna waited for us.

She adores her cousin! I think since she first laid eyes on him!

I want to remember just how into Anna has been with baking and cooking this summer. She found this simple but so sweet recipe in her American Girl magazine and made it all herself.

Just adding the finishing touches at Grandma and Grandpa's house.

And then the fireworks started!

And this just about sums in up for me... summer happiness. My little girl on grandpa's lap. We are grateful!

  1. We have a few Vermont Teddy Bears here...they are the best! My parent picked one up for each of the kids when they were in Vermont a few years back.
