Tea Party Under The Tree

(oh how I adore this one of Abigail with her teacher.  She loves loves loves her teachers.  Hugs and real kisses for life.  Look at that sparkle in her eyes and that chocolate on her lips) 

What could be better than spending an afternoon at a park with your teacher?  Really nothing I think.

Abigail's wonderful first grade teacher had her on a little chart to speed her up during the school year.  (she can take quite a while to unpack her backpack, put her elecare in the refrigerator and start her morning)  And this chart led to a tea party with her teacher!!!

We have a thing I think about tea parties and teachers.

It was a most wonderful afternoon.  Her teacher brought her adorable son



but gave Abigail all of her time and attention.



And Abigail couldn't have been more thrilled.

We brought real tea and a tea pot, cookies and a quilt. Anna was such a help to me.





We chatted



And the little ones went on the swings





Her adorable little boy told me all about his "guys" (how I've missed you cookie and elmo!)







And when we left Abigail cried. Oh how we love our teachers.
