Disney

I am not a good traveler.  Not at all.  I stress about all kinds of things.  I'm an over packer too.  No, really, a crazy over packer.  I bring everything!   A hair bow for every outfit.  Double the amount of socks than days, four pairs of shoes each, a bag to carry around the park. Another one in case I don't like that one, and a back up for that one.  If you could peek in my suitcases you'd laugh.  It's a good thing that Scott loves me for who I am.  (and is used to me)

I've been so nervous about this trip.  "It's a big one,"  I keep telling the girls.  I don't want them to think we're doing something this extravagant next summer, or the next one.  The main reason I'm a bundle of nerves and almost called my Mom to ask her to go in my place is that I'm for the first time taking Abigail away from "her food".  We've always stayed at a hotel with a mini kitchen.  I've always cooked, frozen, and brought her food.  This time I can only pack snacks, her formula, and hope for the magic of Disney to help me find food for her.  I know it's all going to work out, but I'm the mama and I worry.

So with all my extra nervous energy we did a little "we're going soon photo shoot."  And it was fun!

As soon as Abigail made that "4" she knew it was wrong... but I loved it didn't let her change it!

She doesn't like anything except for her "formula" but she faked it for the picture.

  4. Have a fabulous time! Can't wait to see all the pictures! We love Disney World! I can tell you they are wonderful with food allergies and special needs. You can even let them know at the time of your reservations. The chef will come out and personally speak with you. When Kathleen was severely allergic to egg they went above and beyond!
Can't wait to hear all about it.

    Blessings,
    Jill

  6. I just returned from my 2 day trip there. I do have some advice for you. Get the app "my Disney experience" it will tell you waiting times and descriptions like what age recommended for rides and what type it is like a thriller or small drops or if its dark and scary or fast or slow. VERY VERY helpful!!! Just a thought! :) also for Anna: there are lots of ice cream stops and I think a few will offer ice-type ones that Abigail would be able to eat! HAVE LOTS OF FUN! And it is also EXTREMELY HOT. Bring lots of water if possible and if you didn't pack a stroller rent one because it will be useful!
