Our Home in July

~ Home is Where the Heart Is~

42

I put these all here for me... so that I can find little treasures a season or two later... where are those little creamware farm animals? When was the last time I had them? Ohhhh, that's what I had on the tea table last summer! I had forgotten all about that vase!
So really for me, but if you'd like a look around, here's my home in July... light and airy... classical and vintage at the same time.

43

Come on in! If it's not humid the windows are open and the curtains are blowing in the month of July.  If it's too hot and humid the AC is on and we're all cozy inside.

Kitchen ~ the kitchen in July is easy.  We grill a lot outside, eat at the pool club, make simple meals at night.  But I still bake because baking makes me hap hap happy!

Look at this treasure I found!  (and I have all four seasons) 1950's Currier and Ives vintage Four Seasons plate ... this one of course is summer!

This is my morning tea and tea cup.

I love different cups at different seasons.  And this Emma Bridgewater makes me smile!

I waited a whole year to complete my Susan Branch seasonal china mug collection.  Please excuse too many pictures ... they are happy to be together!

Loved how this photo matched the picture book and the flowers in the vase.

  1. Looks so beautiful! It's like the inside of a store with all of the pretty, dainty items. :)

  2. Your home is absolutely beatitude. I love the picture of your living room taken from your family room. I agree with Patty your home is like the inside of a store you want to visit often.

  3. Craziest thing! I had just looked at your post yesterday morning (and your home posts ARE my very favorite) and later in the day, while browsing through an antique shop, I happened upon a set of the very same 4 Currier and Ives seasonal plates! I thought of your lovely home and bought them for a very reasonable price. I had never seen them before, and yet there they were, just after seeing yours!
