On His Classroom Door
Forty Four years ago this hung on my Dad's classroom door.
I can imagine him coloring it in back in 1973 just as his students were about to enter the school.
I was the third child and the first girl. I can tell by all of the pink flowers he was excited about a baby girl. I'm happy to be my parents daughter.
