November Maple French Toast

Not at all healthy, but oh so fallish yummy on this Thursday morning.

Even if you're super healthy you just have to make this for the Novemberish fragrance alone. My oh my it's good!

And super easy too withthe syrup cooked right in!

1

My November French Toast

1 T butter
4 eggs
1/3 c pure maple syrup (you have to use the REAL THING... none of that yucky Log Cabin or Mrs. Butterworths kind)
4 slices of baguette bread sliced
1/4 cup brown sugar packed
1/8 t cinnamon

Melt butter in a large skillet over medium low heat. In a shallow bowl, beat eggs and syrup (did you use the real pure maple syrup? Do it, trust me) together with a fork. Slowly dip each slice of bread into egg mixture on both sides. Fry in a skillet until golden, flip gently and cook other side until golden. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Serves 4
