Whistler and our Anniversary

On this morning the girls woke up and almost together said, "happy anniversary family!!!"

I love that we think of this day as our FAMILY anniversary because that is exactly what it is-- it's the anniversary that our family began twenty six years ago!

We've been to some really spectacular places on our anniversary and this was no exception. The perfect adventure day.

We woke up and headed into another super fun day! We were thrilled that Anna would be with us today for sure after yesterday's hike! Back HERE

This day was another spectacular day but a lot less strenuous! We started off by taking the gondola to the peak of the mountain.

This gondola led us to one of the tops. Then we took a chair lift higher.

And this was the view from one of the peaks.
As always with this trip, the view was impossible to photograph -- especially the height! But it sure was breathtaking and I sure loved trying to capture all of that beauty!
Just take a look at that!

This is looking down toward the area where you take the gondola.

Then we took the Peak to Peak gondola to the other mountain. You can check that out HERE. The Peak to Peak goes straight across from one mountain to the other. Spectacular!

It was quite warm that day but really awesome to be surrounded by all of that snow!

Love these and this time with the love of my life on our 26th anniversary!

I loved the beauty (I know, I keep saying that) on just the paths. There is something so wonderful about being somewhere so different -- the rocks, the trees, the paths.

We walked the trails up and down there all afternoon, each view more spectacular than the other.

You can tell by how little they are how many trails there are.

This was beyond amazing -- we saw this bridge "way up high in the mountains" from down below when we looked up all week. And now we were on it! So beyond cool. It took two gondola rides, a ski lift ride, and another peak to peak gondola to be here - so worth it! It is the world's highest elevation suspension bridge! Click HERE to read more about it.

We thought the views before were amazing -- they were nothing like we were seeing here!

After taking in all those views we slowly made our way back across the bridge.

I know this doesn't look too high up but remember this is three gondola rides just to get to this bridge.

After, we returned to our hotel and got ready for our anniversary dinner.

A few pictures before.

Best day to celebrate our family!
