Childhood is Magical

4

If I ever ask you why I'm so behind it seems each year remind me of this post.  And the one about to come.  Oh yea, we drive over an hour to almost the border of Vermont for Santa.  Because this one is real.

He visits the Kringle Christmas Barn every weekend in December (I don't know how he does it... talk about being behind)  where they have fancy hot chocolate, lovely meals, and picture postcard outdoor paths.  (that just happened to be covered with snow all around... bonus!)

Last year after we visited him he wrote us a letter thanking us for coming to see him.  He's sooo the real one that even ten and a half year old Anna (who I said didn't HAVE to sit on his lap) said, "oh yes I will; he's the real one, remember the letter last year?"

So she did.  And my little one did too.  Who was so nervous in line she kept kissing my hand and rubbing it against her cheek.

They knew my girls names... proof positive!

And I got the shot I wanted... this one is Christmas magic in a child's eyes to me.

  1. We know about those "real" ones, too. Ever since we moved to TX, we haven't found him! That Mrs. C looks pretty awesome as well!
