Phew!

Here was my schedule this weekend:

Friday night 8:00 pm -11:48 pm - work on my end of year data analysis
Saturday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm - work on my end of year Professional Learning Objectives analysis
Saturday 9:00 pm - 12:00 am - work on end of year Student Learning Objectives
Sunday 12:00 pm - 10:00 pm - continuation of the same things and go into my classroom to plan for Monday

It's exhausting.  It's exhilirating.  It's exciting to look back at all I've done.  But it's so so hard.  My brain burns from thinking so much all weekend.

I still have some loose ends to tie up before my big end of year meeting on Thursday with my principal.  I still have to make my binder of 'evidence'.

Being a teacher at the end of the school year is H.A.R.D.

But I'll be honest It's keeping me so busy that I don't have time to think about the end of the year like I used to and wish that it was here so bad.  I'm still just teaching and doing what I do.  I know that it will be all of a sudden summer break and it will feel so weird (and wonderful) to go from all this to nothing.

After all that, want to see something pretty?  My new dishes!  I adore dishes and should someday do a post all of them.

1

Wedgewood, from England make them special enough for a Mother's Day brunch.

m day 6

m day 4

But they are now our everyday dishes.

There are so many in the set I rescued that they fill our kitchen cabinet for every day and the overflow looks so lovely it makes my heart happy in my dinning room hutch.

I have a love for dishes. Antique ones that are no longer sold unless you rescue them from antique stores especially have my heart. And ones that say "coutryside" by Wedgewood; well, I swoon!

Here's to summer coming whatever phase you're in... home with your children already, working, teaching, or still in the drive around thick of it... it's coming no matter where you are!

  1. Thinkking of you, Tara! The end of the school year is hard. Only those of us in the trenches really can relate. Hang in there, Friend, you're almost done!!!
