Tea Time

It's hard to remember how it started but tea time on either Saturday or Sunday has become a beautiful ritual in our home.

No need to dress up. We wear our cozy clothes.

It's a civilized moment even if it's a day of chaos.

One small pot had a tea bag; the other pot held loose tea.



I keep homemade chocolate chip cookie dough balls in the freezer - ready to pop in a heated oven.



I call them in and they pick a tea cup on their way.

An easy - we all sit down together - we pause for a moment in our day - civilized moment.
