Getting the perfect tree

I'm picky, oh so picky about my Christmas tree.  I grew up driving almost 2 hours to Ingalls Tree Farm to find the perfect blue spruce for our family tree.  And I loved that tradition so much that Scott and I continued it for our first 7 seasons before Anna.  But now with kids, activities we've found a place closer and every tree is the PERFECT tree!  (but you do pay for it...)  Here are a few shots from the day.  (All of the settings are off... just learning this new camera... and using it for the first time in the freezing cold, super sun in your eyes kind of day was not the best so sorry about the pics)

super overexposed but I love Abigail's face.
It was a fun morning for sure... now for those lights!

Thanks for stopping by for a visit :) I'm hoping to decorate this coming week at my home.
