It's that time of year again ❤
It's time to decorate and make our homes all comfy and cozy for Christmastime!
This year I started with pictures of our kitchen {although most of the house is all decorated now}
Here's our cozy, country, Christmas kitchen this year!
The kitchen curtains, the sink skirt, and the little curtains above the sink are all a cheerful red and white gingham. I think that make it feel extra country!
Looking toward out little breakfast nook and china cabinet...
I've never done this before but I took out the china that is in there all year long and filled it with the holly china from Lenox. I love how easy it is to use and how pretty it is to look at!
I also added these 'made in England' ironstone transferware green and red plates on the wall and I don't think I ever want to take them down! They are the perfect touch to that space!
These are our everyday dishes during advent. They are the Woodland collection from Japan. I found them on ebay about 8 years ago and bought them for our 'twentieth married Christmas'. I love them still
Our open shelving is turned into a general store.
All Christmas mugs on the wall. Our Emma Bridgewater mugs are on the shelves. Our collection just keeps growing.
An old vintage/antique shopping basket filled with flour, candy apples, and gingerbread
candy canes for sale too
Emma Bridgewater "A Year in the Country" Christmas mugs on the shelves. They have the most darling little scenes.
And lots more Christmas mugs on this shelf.
An old vintage child's cash register that is so adorable! I can't wait to take it out every year!
and a cabinet filled with 'cookies for sale' and lots of jams and jellies!
Lots of greens and twinkle light above the sink
A little look into the whole kitchen and mudroom
This is the darling little general store that I love to decorate for the seasons. This year I added the garland around the windows
My little kitchen library with all of the Christmas cookbooks for easy access!
Found this 'new' one at a thrift store! It has the most cheerful cover!
These ironstone cups match the plates on the wall ~ all found different years
The baking center is the heart of our kitchen ~ especially at Christmastime
Scott built this onto the cabinets for me and this year I lined up all of the Christmas creamers. So adorable!
I found a silver tea tray and chalk painted it creamy white and it really makes the teacups pop!
Happy advent everyone!
More rooms coming just as soon as I can!
