On Sunday morning I crept downstairs at 5:30 am. I had a busy Saturday and I was already tired. I knew that the only quiet time I could possibly have all day was early in the morning, so I just had to get up.
I was praying for the retreat that Abiagil was leading (that post back here) and for the womens brunch that Anna and I would be serving at today.
And then I just thought about it. Both of my girls on the same weekend, serving the Lord in church. How blessed I am!
It filled me with such a peace and such joy.
And it was a wonderful brunch. There were about 50 women in attendance. Here is a picture of the committee.
