Our 30th Wedding Anniversary

Scott and I were married 30 years ago, yesterday! It was the most beautiful day in Connecicut, sunny and 80 degrees without a drop of humidity. We exchanged our vows and had the most beautiful wedding reception. I wouldn't change one thing about our wedding day. It was all so perfect.

Yesterday we spent the best day together and I loved every minute. Here's a bit of what our day looked like, lots of 'real life' and lots of wonderful too!

Morning Bible time and prayer followed by lunch prep for Abigail:

I dropped Abigail off at her camp job while Scott did some painting.

Scott has been chipping away at painting the main part of our home and up the stairs so he wanted to get a bit more painting in on his day home.

We went for a 4 mile walk/hike at one of our favorite places.

We went to a new bakery place for tea and a snack!

In the evening we went out to dinner at a French restaurant and it was amazing!

I love you Scott Edward Baker.

I'm so happy we were in the same high school Spanish class all those years ago (1989) and started our noticing each other on a class trip to Spain.

We've had highs and deep deep lows. We've celebrated and found joy in each other. We've clung to our faith. We've sharpened our ideals and dreamed big dreams for our little family. And through it all we've fallen deeper in love. You are my very best friend in the whole world. You always have been but even more now after 30 years married!

Here's to 30 more!

PS ~ We've go big plans to celebrate the start of our little family coming soon! I promise to share just as soon as I can!
