Light Into Darkness

I noticed green shoots coming out of messy, leaf covered dirt, among fallen sticks. Green. And it made me think. 

We follow the example of God. In the beginning the world was formless, void, and dark. 

But... 

But God is the creator. He, in his goodness, spoke light, beauty, color, form, meaning, and love into the darkness and void. 

And we follow his example. When we are unjustly hurt, not heard, not forgiven, we have darkness in our lives. 

But... 

Just like God we can dispel the darkness by choosing to believe in God's goodness and live in hope and peace. 

So, my day can feel formless, void, and dark. But I can in my goodness:

💜speak light

💜bring beauty into my home

💜bring form, meaning, and love...
