Our Vacation to Florida ~ day one and two

What a marvelous vacation we had in Naples, Florida. It was so great to unwind, relax, have wonderful food, and have fun together! 

I have to start with pictures of the hotel room because for some reason my girls love to look back and it really helps to remember... "oh, I remember that hotel!"

We opted for a smaller room but one that had a balcony overlooking the ocean. 

The girls fit in a quick swim right away!

That night we had dinner plans to see family. I have an aunt and uncle that live in the area and even my cousin came by to the restaurant to see us. 

Scott and I woke up bright and early on Wednesday morning, snuck quietly out of the room and had breakfast outside overlooking the ocean. It was marvelous!  Then we had some chairs and umbrellas put out on the beach, woke the girls up and while they had their special breakfast over looking the ocean, Scott and I were here. And then we spent the entire day in those chairs, swimming in the ocean, eating lunch, swimming in the pool, and getting all showered and dressed up for dinner. 

I started a new book (fiction is rare for me) and it pulled me in right in the first sentence! I love when books start off that good! 

There were lots of swimming in the ocean and cooling off too in the lobby with the best fruity ice water! 

What a luxury to have our lunches brought right out to the beach! 

Hours and hours went by and then it was time for dinner. 

We watched the sunset from the restaurant window melting into the ocean and even went for a walk along the beach when the sun had set. It was glorious!
