Pondering

Hebrews 10:23-24 

a good verse for us as we ponder what it means to be authentic Christians. 

Let us hold firmly 

to the confession of our hope 

without wavering. 

(we have a hope, a future assurance, God's provision)\

we can hope without wavering) 

For He who promised is faithful 

and

let us consider how to encourage one another 

in love and good deeds 

Pondering in February who in my life needs encouragement. 

Even when I have one more meal to cook

One more mess to clean up

One more week to plan for fourth graders

One more challenging parent school email 

One more viola practice to sit through

One more weekly alarm for 5am

One more bedtime routine

One more ..... 

Maybe my husband needs encouragement

Maybe my child needs a note on their pillowcase

This month, each week, I will do at least one act of encouragement, thoughtfulness, emails, message, phone calls... 

to keep them full of hope as they finish well in their walk with God.
