How can this be another checking in {with Abigail's health} post?
It can. It is.
On this day we headed to another doctor - Abigail's endocrinologist {brilliant} who is in charge of her physical growth.
Ever since she was a baby Abigail has been little. Always at the 0% for weight and below the 0% for height. Always.
Last November (2021) she started Abigail on something called growth hormones.
In it's simplest explanation she receives a shot E V E R Y. S I N G L E. N I G H T.
For how long?
Years - until she is done growing.
And since November she has grown! Oh man, it is so cool to be a witness to all of her growth.
But it's not easy. Each night is a big deal in our house.
There's the brace for scoliosis and then this shot.
There are also many medications for her Eosinophilic Esophagitis.
But she is amazing.
So here is her 7.5 month into growth hormone therapy photo.
