Little Things I Noticed On My Phone

Helping - I love when the girls will join me in my classroom. We are nearing the end of the school year and my team and I need to do our budget and place orders. Anna and Abigail helped me to take every single supply I have out, make a list of what I have, what I need, what I have too much of to help me! Love having them in there!

I never take pictures of my classroom - always mean to to but gosh darn I am so busy teaching and prepping teaching that I just do think of it! But this one I took for an email and it makes me so happy! They are getting really really close to completing this puzzle (we study Connecticut)!

Mother's Day -- I posted back HERE about Mother's Day this year, but just wanted to get this picture on my blog because I love my Mom oh so much! We had such a lovely visit with tea and muffins Saturday before Mother's Day. It was relaxing and won~der~ful 💞

Abigail had an endoscopy in April and found this video of her doctor explaining the results from that test:

This must have been when Scott went up to Holy Cross to bring Anna back after Easter

We never like saying goodbye after a holiday

But we sure have fun when she's home!

Let's just end with a pie because it's the sweetest way to feel all caught up!

Little Things I Noticed This Week

I noticed the leaves on my neighbors tree out my dining room window

1

I noticed how yummy this lunch box for Anna turned out in the wee hours of the morning

2

I noticed how high school algebra looks at 9:48 pm

3

I noticed really warm weather right in the middle of the week. Sundress on a Wednesday in October?! Unheard of!

4

I noticed how I have a watering helper

5

I noticed how happy we ALL are that Anna has decided to do all of her homework on the "main floor" because we miss her

6

I notice mums that broke off from the huge ones in the pot (front steps) in a little vase. Made me think of and miss my grandpa

7

I noticed (oh boy did I ever notice!) the text from my husband in the middle of the week saying something like "I'll cook tonight"

8

11

I noticed the tree outside of Anna's bedroom window

10

I noticed how happy a playdate made my daughter and how cute they were playing polly pockets for an hour together

12

I noticed this... on my phone from the Horse Show last weekend. This is the amazing mom that told me all about Spirit Horse

13

I noticed these flowers on my desk where I teach from that same amazing mom (above) who happens to be the Reading Specialist at the school where I am

19

I noticed how hard she is (we are) working on her facts

14

I noticed how much she loves loves loves her Uncle Todd (from this post back here)

15

I noticed how much fun my girls had with grandma and grandpa while scott and I were at church with engaged couples last weekend

16

17

I noticed her (and am grateful for the mom who went on the field trip and texted me allll day) at the beach/swamp learning field trip

18

and so so so glad it Friday... and cozy!

A Little Bit of Real Life on my Phone

Before I delete and clear these are just some real life moments that I capture with my phone. Little moments.

Dress Rehearsal

Dancing with the cast on the last day... she's a wild one!

The Lion King choreographer can really do some pretty braids.

1

Abigail is friends with everyone in the cast!

2

Pineapple garland from felt... swoon!

3

A children's tea set arrived at my house... swoon again!

8

Craft time at the pool

10

Packing, lists, getting ready

16

Sometimes I feel panic like what is already packed is not enough... so I run to the store... just in case.

17

We celebrated Christmas in July

18

Pen pals who love school.

19

Mufasa

20

And Jury Duty... for an elementary school principal on the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Little Things In June

Little things caught on my phone throughout the month.

Second to the last day

1

Something else I found that I adore from England (Hogben Pottery)

2

My last day of part time teaching I was so tired of the clothes in my closet so I dashed into Anna's closet for a favorite dress of hers. I texted her at school and she was all "sure! the kids will love the birds" It was kinda weird to wear (be able to share) my daughters clothes but really super cool too! We totally have the same simple, elegant, traditional style.

3

After school chocolate pop and a smile!

4

One rainy Sunday night after this Feis and this concert all on the same day we took the girls out for a treat.

5\\

7

One very excited Irish Dancer

6

I met a friend for tea and the cold cucumber soup was to die for!

8

This intersection is in my home (growing up) town. I can never pass through it without a prayer of thanksgiving for God saving Scott's life (and his sister) who were in a terrible accident when were were 15.

9

Rose park not quite yet in bloom here but still so beautiful.

10

Adorable new favorite game.

11

The night my Dad brought over a bucket load of fresh picked strawberries

12

Decorating for the 4th

13

Swimming lessons throughout the school year and now in our third week straight every day this summer... she's getting it!

14

The day we made Father's Day epic

15

"Should I mama? Should I?" (she did)

16

17

18

A little something new for the house.

19

20

Found this in Scott's "The Power of a Praying Husband" I'd guess this was his bookmark. And it was right before we decided to adopt.

21

And then all of a sudden it was summer. And we found our first week here a lot. Reading. Heaven!

22

Everyday after I gave the girls lunch (I was always making mine while they were eating) we would take our books into the family room and read. Best part of summer.
