Oh my stars - - this is the best weekend ever - it tops all of those fall posts I did. It's a giant hug of a weekend. And I want to do it again, right now!

This time we knew just what to look forward to and there were so many delightful surprises that it make it so much F U N for our family.
See that?! There's my heart full and happy!
The very first thing we did was tour the Prior Performing Art Center. I had gone on opening weekend (click HERE to see that) but Scott and Abigail never got to see the inside. We watched it being built weekend by weekend by weekend last school year every time we picked up Anna or visited Anna or dropped her off. It was amazing to see inside again.
This space (below) is where Anna's orchestra rehearses quite a view at night I'm sure! There's also an over look out there but we couldn't go our there.

Mostly I just soaked up watching these two talk and talk and talk nonstop. For you mama's out there who have all of your children at home, this is the coolest thing to witness... when they get back together after being apart, it is simply the B E S T !
Then we walked through campus to take a walk off campus on a nature trail.
The campus is stunning.
We had lunch at her dining hall and loved the food so much! And then after that on to the Fall Fair!
Later that evening we checked into our hotel, went off campus for dinner, and then headed back for a night on campus!
Our
hotel was adorable! We had the family suite on the third floor. It was cozy, elegant, clean, and we will never stay anywhere else near Holy Cross!
Back on campus for a night of fun!
If the money were real Abigail would have won like millions of dollars - but she did "win" lots of raffle tickets and we went home with a new Keriug!
After the best night ever (and staying up too late for this tired teacher mama) we headed back for a cozy night of sleep.
Our breakfast in the morning was the absolute best.
We rounded out the weekend by checking out, bringing Anna back to campus and going to the Family Weekend Mass.
Can't wait until next year!
