The Thing About College Tours {part 2}

Oh my goodness -- way way way back here when we were starting college tours with Anna I wrote a blog post titled "The Thing About College Tours" {you can click HERE to check it out} and I remembered it yesterday when we started our first day of college tours with Abigail. 

Truly, the beginning process of choosing a college is a really fun one. The stakes aren't high. It's just about getting 'your feet wet' and beginning to think about what type of college might be one to look deeper into. 

We tend to visit a lot of different types of colleges so that we have a lot to pull from when the time really does come to think about where to apply. 

So we started yesterday. And it was such a fun day with Abigail. We were about an hour and a half from home and just like in that post from years ago, we loved our day together. We toured one college in the morning and attended the information session. 

Then we headed to the sweet little downtown area and had a lovely lunch.

In the afternoon we toured a second college and went to that information session as well. 

It ended up being a long day one that really got us thinking about two years from now and the best type of place for Abigail. We have years to go of course and lots more to explore. But it sure was fun starting!
