Scott and I started our day with an early five mile walk on a nature trail in Stowe Vermont. The girls stayed in the room and slept in but missed one spectacular sunrise!!!
After our early morning outside {I adore mornings} we had breakfast outside. {Heaven}
Then we picked up the girls and took them to breakfast. We found a local coffee shop and bakery that made vegan {not allergic for Abigail} egg, bacon sandwiches... yum!
My favorite part of the day was Mass. I really love when a trip lands on a Sunday because I've always loved exploring different parishes. And Blessed Sacrament church was 'sooooooOooooo Vermont'. You can check it out here.
After Mass we headed about a mile down the road to the Stowe Farmers Market. We had the best afternoon there looking at local crafts and eating fun food!
One the way back there was a short walk to a waterfall -- pretty cool!
We spent the rest of the afternoon right in the village of Stowe sitting outside, walking the town, and enjoying tea, lemonade and cookies in the hotel.
We enjoyed a simple dinner at the pool at night...
... and then Scott and I headed out for a sunset hike. Look at this view! Stowe is such a Hallmark Christmas movie type of town. I want to buy a house right in the village and live here in the summer! (and December!)
After it was dark and we were back we spent the night again at the pool and firepit! So much fun!
