There are tiny moments in the middle of the ordinary that stand out as magnificent to me.
They are in the middle of braids, kisses to a big sister as she heads out the door, kitchen table being wiped down after breakfast, and my rush to go from the look of mommy to the look of teacher in ten seconds flat.
I grab the load of hot, white towels out of the dryer on my way up the stairs just seconds before we have to leave. And while I'm still thinking 'what should I wear?' I see this.
So I stop and capture. Because that's what my heart pulls me to do.
When I stop and allow myself to see the magnificent in the ordinary my faith grows and I'm reminded, "Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute... dwell on these things." Philippians 4:8
Tara you are so blessed. You have a beautiful life. I always enjoy reading your blog, it encourages me, motivates me as a mom, as a wife & as a woman. It keeps me refreshed & focused on my home life & family. Your kitchen is beautiful!! I actually almost went with white quartz too but then settled on "white" granite with grey & cranberry accents. Our kitchen wall colors are pretty identical! Looking back I wish I went with a white stove! I got stainless steal! Never again tho... stainless steal is totally overrated in my book! White is SOOOO much better! Classic & clean!! Blessings! And thanks for sharing your life so openly.. all the big & small areas of your life! It makes your blog so much more personal:) Lisa from instagram :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a picture! I love when in the middle of craziness we see something that makes us stop...stop and savor the moment. I have to constantly remind myself to keep my eyes open for those moments because we can easily pass right by them....
