I'm a bit behind but and determined to catch up! I can't believe that Anna is a junior in college, and that this was our third Family Weekend!
We didn't have the grand, amazing, New England fall weather we have in the past - but that was okay, really! It was all about being together (the four of us) and just having some fun! So we did things a bit different than these past years:
On to the junior year Family Weekend:
Despite the rain, the colors we fun to see along the way.
The college looked amazing all decorated for fall with a million mums.
We toured a new residence hall that Anna is thinking about for her senior year and loved it so much! We ate where she eats every day, took as many short cuts through buildings as we could find when it was pouring, and just had a great time on campus!
We headed into the city and to our favorite antique store that has a used bookstore upstairs with the best tea ever! It was cozy and relaxing, just what we needed after all of that rain.
We changed things up a bit this year and decided to go to Mass on Saturday afternoon. With such a washout this year, we thought it might be better to head home earlier on Sunday so that we could jump into the week more ready and organized.
Out to dinner at another favorite: Wooster Public Market for some yummy food and then we got Abigail all settled in Anna's dorm for a fun sister sleepover!
Scott and I stayed at an Inn that we love and enjoyed a relaxing evening and yummy breakfast together.
Before we knew it, we were back on campus and saying goodbye until Thanksgiving!
