Our Home ~ August

Here we are in September and my house has changed so much since I took these right before the trip. But I have to put them here anyway so that I can remember for next year. I sure wish I could remember year to year.

I Cried and Laughed and Cried

... when I came across this post. My life. Anna was a fifth grader, Abigail was a first grader and I was home. I love everything about this. Every little thing. (2013)

from a post back in 2013 (here)

How lucky was I...

You see this blog was never about having the perfect life; showing off the perfect house. Far from it. It was, still is, and always will be to remember. Remember rocking it out to All I Really Need in the garage after school pick up. With the two people who have my heart and are "all I really need." I am so so blessed indeed that I did those days and am still getting to do days with my girls. Things have changed. And they have grown. We all have. I just know that we're all meant to be right where we are.

If you come across this one day girls know that those 13 years at home and not in my classroom were the greatest days of my life. And that each and every day spent with you is a wonderful day. I am blessed. I am lucky. I am beyond happy that you are mine and I am yours. You are all I really need. Forever and ever and ever.

Cruise to Canada ~ REALLY the end

I love when I find a gem on on phone or Scott's. I usually don't take pictures on my phone. I like the big camera and the control I have over the pictures I take. But those little moments are gems too. And I just can't leave them out of the posts.

Cruise to Canada ~ part 10 The End

In as little words as I can. Montreal

8-1

Sunday Mass in the most beautiful church St. Patrick's Basilica

8-2

Home to the United States (it felt so good) and a stop in the sweetest town in Vermont.

8-3

Woodstock, Vermont

Where shopping is done in baskets.

8-4

8-5

The trees, the streets, the shops.

8-16

That old sign... a pharmacy that has been open since 1853. Why those kind of things make my heart pitter patter, I don't know, but they do.

You know I was thinking "oh wouldn't this be a perfect spot for a Christmas Getaway Weekend one day" (ummm yes please)

8-19

and then drove home.

8-20

We had a rough couple of days after we were home. Anna's face had a reaction to a medication and it was really scary for a week. Looking through all of the photos I can see it start to happen as the trip progressed and she was in the doctors office the morning after these photos were taken with a swollen face, eyes she could barely open, mouth she didn't open because it hurt so much, and oozing skin. She is completely fine now and we are grateful.

Just a few more pictures from our phones on my next post and then I can move on to fall!!!
