Old Sturbridge Village is an outdoor history museum that depicts a rural New England town in the 1830's. It is a place to not only explore the town, preserved from 1830 but also the 200 scenic acres that surround the village.
It looks so beautiful there. There looks to be something interesting around every corner. I love this kind of history! I've been working on ancestry material for a couple of years and the 1830's doesn't seem terribly long ago now that I'm older and met relatives who were born in the late 1800's.
