Mother's Day

Today during Morning Meeting in my classroom I had each child share something that they did for their mother's that made them happy on Mother's day and I loved the responses:

~ we went for a walk and picked buttercups

~ brunch

~ I made my mom breakfast in bed, a huge pancake that took forever to cook!

~ we got my mom flowers

~ we went for a hike and got lost

It was the sweetest, most darling answers. And I loved that they all loved on their mamas. Those elementary school years of Mother's Day were my favorite for sure.

This one with a twenty one an almost eighteen year old was sweet too.

On Saturday afternoon we went to Abigail's concert (post back here) and then we took my Mom out to dinner at a yummy Italian place. It was our first time eating outside and it was so lovely.

The food was amazing!

On Sunday we went to 8:00 am Mass which was lovely and then Scott and Abigail showered me with gifts that morning.

The best were the cards and they were so thoughtful and filled with love.

That afternoon I drove up to Holy Cross to do a photoshoot of Anna in her graduation cap and gown! It was such a beautiful weather day (but boy is it windy on the "hill" as the call Holy Cross)

Not pictured, but I will when I can:
1. The Mother's Day plates Anna bought me
2. The big project that Scott did for me -- not quite done (He does a big project once a year that our house doesn't really need but I've been wanting)

*I'll share when I can*
